Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT) is a nonintrusive
investigation method that allows visualising the contents of objects
with variable internal capacitance properties.
The method is popular for its responsiveness, for the low cost and for
the ease of use, but has problems in what concerns its precision and
usefulness for quantitative measurements.
